Feel like I've failed

Hi my partner went through a detox programme after being with him for a year (drinking ) . I've stayed with him and I don't know why but he did the detox and came out after a 10day hospital stay he was given tablets to take everyday and signed off, 3months after the detox we went away for a week and it was very hard as I didn't trust he wouldn't drink but as far as I know he didn't . We came back and spent another week together before I had to return home by mid week things got bad and one excuse and he had a drink . I came home and had three weeks of on off we just couldn't get on and he drunk for two weeks only stopping now after having a fall. He has stopped again but I just don't know what to do for the best should I support and if so by doing what or leave him he isn't nasty or anything like that x
