It is illegal for under-18s to buy it, or for licensed premises (e.g. pubs) to sell it to underage people.

How much does it cost?

It can be extremely expensive or very cheap. The cheapest drinks compared to their alcoholic content tend to be super-strength beers or ciders, or low-end spirits.
