Greenwich End of Project Celebration & Learning Event

16 Mar 2018

We are holding an End of Project Celebration and Learning Event for our Big Lottery funded Whole Family Recovery Project on Friday 16 March, 12:30pm-4:30pm in Greenwich.

Over the last five years, we have worked with families affected by drugs and alcohol in Greenwich to provide them with the training, resources and support to understand the impact of drugs and alcohol on their lives, build sustainable relationships and positive futures. We have empowered families to develop, deliver and evaluate sustainable services for themselves and for other families living in the Greenwich area. They have become visible Family Recovery Champions, inspiring others to make positive changes in their lives and redress the negative impact of drug and alcohol use in their families and communities.

The end of project celebration will be an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the Family Recovery Champions and to hear about their work and what we have learned through the project. There will be a nice lunch, as well as lots of fun activities to boost the wellbeing of the families we have been working with.

Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend, particularly volunteers or practitioners involved in similar community projects in other parts of London who would like to share our learning.

If you are interested in attending or would like to find out more, please email Alison Hill.
