Families Living with Addiction and Recovery survey
4 May 2017
In partnership with Sheffield Hallam University and funded by Alcohol Research UK, we are excited to launch the Families Living with Addiction and Recovery survey.
Following on from Life in Recovery (pdf), ground-breaking research into addiction recovery experiences, this is the first nationwide survey which will document the lives of family members of people in addiction and recovery from alcohol and other drugs.
Anyone who considers themselves a family member, friend or loved one of a person who uses or is in recovery from alcohol and other drugs is encouraged to complete the survey. It takes about 30 minutes and is completely anonymous.
This is a very exciting piece of research and will be an invaluable snapshot of how families are affected by a loved one’s substance use. Please do pass this on to anyone you know who has been affected in this way. The more people who fill it in, the better the picture we will get!
Take part in the survey.
If you have any questions about the research, please contact Catrin Andersson at Sheffield Hallam.
