Criminal Justice training
Helping staff in the criminal justice sector support families effectively and appropriately
Involvement with drugs can often lead to contact with the criminal justice system and prison sentences for drug-related offences are common. The extra strain placed on families in these circumstances - for example when visiting prison or preparing for their family member's release - is often very difficult to deal with.
The criminal justice training package is fully informed by Adfam's work in prisons and is ideal for professionals working both in prison and community settings - such as DIP workers, visitors' centre and CARATs staff, and those in probation.
